1.Bookstore EAV

The challenge

The project challenge was to create a website and app for the publisher and bookstore called “EAV.” The goal was to integrate a digital platform that offers an intuitive and engaging experience for users, making it easier to discover and purchase books while promoting the publisher’s unique identity online. The objective was to provide a digital environment that reflects the literary quality and the diversity of titles offered by EAV.

The project was carried out between May and June 2020.

My Role

As a UI/UX Designer in the EAV Publisher and Bookstore project, I shaped the user experience from conception to final implementation. My focus was on creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces to ensure a smooth journey while exploring the website and app. I aimed to integrate design elements that would captivate and enhance the unique identity of EAV, providing an engaging and enjoyable book discovery experience.

Success Metrics

The success metrics for the EAV Publisher and Bookstore project include:

Conversion Rate: Measure how many visitors to the website or app actually make a purchase, subscription, or another desired action.
Retention Rate: Track how many users return to the platform over time, indicating user loyalty and satisfaction.
User Feedback: Collect and analyze direct user feedback through ratings, surveys, or comments, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Site/App Performance: Monitor loading speed, stability, and efficiency of the site or app to ensure a seamless experience.

By continuously evaluating these metrics, we can ensure the success of the project by meeting the needs of users and the goals of the EAV Publisher and Bookstore.

Design Process

The design process for the project involved several crucial stages. We began with the “kick-off,” an initial session to align project goals, expectations, and requirements. Next, we moved on to creating “wireframes,” sketches that outlined the basic structure of the website and app.

The testing phase was essential, allowing us to assess usability and identify potential improvements. Based on the feedback, we progressed to creating the “prototype,” an interactive version that provided a more tangible view of the user experience.

Finally, the “implementation follow-up” ensured that the design vision was effectively translated into the final product. These integrated stages ensured a cohesive process, resulting in a platform that harmonizes functionality and aesthetics for EAV’s users.

2.Topeshopp - Store owner

The challenge

In the challenge presented by Topeshopp, the mission was clear: to create a robust e-commerce platform, enabling other merchants to establish their online presence with ease. The main focus was to integrate an efficient delivery system, providing a complete and ready-to-use solution.

Strategic Approach:

Modular Development: I adopted a modular approach in the design, allowing merchants to customize and adapt the platform according to their specific needs.
Seamless Integration: I implemented an integrated delivery system, directly connecting merchants to reliable logistics services, ensuring operational efficiency.
Simplified Experience: I focused on creating an intuitive user experience, both for store owners and end consumers, making navigation, selection, and purchase easy.

Success Metrics

Ease of Use: The Topeshopp platform would provide an easy and quick setup, allowing merchants to start their online operations swiftly.
Reliable Delivery: The seamless integration with reliable delivery systems would ensure that products reach customers efficiently.
Wide Adoption: The solution would see significant adoption, standing out as the preferred choice for entrepreneurs seeking an effective entry into e-commerce.

My Role

In my role as Product Designer for the Topeshopp project, I took on the responsibility of designing and shaping the end-to-end user experience. My involvement spanned from the initial research and requirements definition phase to the implementation and continuous optimization of the platform. Some of the activities I developed included: user research and understanding, defining requirements and features, prototyping, and iterative design.

My role as Product Designer was crucial in ensuring that Topeshopp provided not only a functional solution but also an engaging experience that aligned with the dynamic needs of the e-commerce market.

Design Process

In the design process for the project, I started with a kick-off session to align goals and expectations. Detailed research guided the creation of wireframes, the initial sketches of the interface. Usability tests were conducted to adjust and improve the user experience.

Based on the insights, I developed an interactive prototype, validated through further testing. During implementation, I maintained close collaboration with the development team, ensuring fidelity to the initial vision and providing ongoing support.

Research e Wireframes

I started the process with a comprehensive research phase, exploring user needs, market trends, and benchmarks. Based on this understanding, I developed wireframes, structural sketches that outlined the placement of elements in the interface, focusing on usability and the user’s journey.

Final Version

Based on the insights from usability testing, I moved on to creating an interactive prototype. This prototype served as a more advanced representation of the interface, allowing for a realistic simulation of interactions. New tests were conducted to validate the proposed experience.

Implementation Follow-up

During the implementation phase, I maintained close collaboration with the development team. I provided clear guidelines, continuous support, and feedback as the design was translated into code. I conducted regular reviews to ensure fidelity to the initial vision.

This iterative, user-centered process ensured that the final solution not only met functional requirements but also provided an engaging experience aligned with user expectations. Continuous follow-up during implementation ensured a smooth transition from design to technical reality.

2.One Page

Eagle<span data-metadata="">

As part of the Eagle project, I was responsible for developing the website. I created a platform that not only showcases the sensor but also highlights its vital role in preventing drowsiness for heavy machinery operators.

The website provides an informative and engaging experience. From presenting the product to offering practical instructions, each section was carefully designed to convey clarity and confidence in the effectiveness of Eagle.

Meticulously aligned with the project’s visual identity, the website not only informs but also inspires trust, emphasizing Eagle’s importance as a virtual guardian in operational safety and efficiency. This site was conceived to be more than just a virtual showcase; it is an effective tool for conveying the essential message of Eagle.

Uppcare

During the pandemic, I participated in the UppCare project, a kiosk that identified mask usage and dispensed hand sanitizer. I developed the logo, creating a cohesive visual identity that reflects the project’s purpose.

Additionally, I graphically designed the adhesive application model for the kiosk, ensuring clear communication about the availability of hand sanitizer.

The one-page promotional website was an extension of this narrative. From presenting the project to providing practical instructions, the website was designed to be intuitive and accessible to everyone.

KeepTogether

In developing the one-page website for the KeepTogether app, my mission was to create an online experience that reflected the essence of the app: bringing people from the same nationality together, even when far from home.

The website layout was carefully designed to convey a sense of warmth and community. Vibrant colors and inclusive images were chosen to reflect the diversity and unity that KeepTogether promotes.

The KeepTogether one-page website not only informs but also evokes the spirit of connection and belonging that the app offers. It was designed to be more than just a digital showcase; it serves as a gateway to building meaningful communities beyond geographical boundaries.
